Swanage Regatta. Saturday, 17th May. Urgent Help Required.

As I am sure you are all aware Swanage Regatta - an Association organised and run event - takes place Saturday week - Saturday, 17th June.

As most of you will appreciate the Regatta is run for the Association by the Association with affiliated clubs and individuals from those Clubs volunteering to take on all the various aspects of running the Regatta..

One of the roles (of many) Pete Staddon of Christchurch takes on, with assistance, is the laying the turning buoys. Unfortunatley the person who normally assists him in this role is has had to withdraw at short notice so Pete is trying to find a replacement.

They need to be able to be at Swanage - by the Mowlem - for 8.00am on the Saturday of the Regatta - Saturday, 17th May - and be prepared to go afloat in a RIB or small boat to help lay the buoys. Job should be complete by about 9.30am.
