REGATTA’S, JUNIOR EVENTS and HEAD RACE DATES - 2017. APPLICATION FORM
Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 7:21PM In order to establish as early as possible and with the aim of having firm dates for all 2017 Events by the Autumn Delegates Meeting could all Event Secretaries please provide me with their ideal 2017 Regatta/Head/Junior Event date – plus an alternative date - by 31st July, 2016 at the very latest. This will allow time to, where possible, resolve any conflicts prior to the Autumn Council meeting and to submit provisional Event dates to British Rowing for inclusion in their Regatta planning, which is undertaken in early August each year. I have attached a copy/printed on the reverse – a copy of the 2017 Tide Tables to assist with your deliberations. Please note – at the Autumn Delegates Meeting of March, 2013 it was agreed that two dates must be given – failure to do so putting an events request at risk – and priority to others events requesting their date.
PLEASE NOTE NO REGATTA DATES FOR 2017 WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE 1st JULY, 2016 - ANY REQUESTS FOR SPECIFIC DATES RECEIVED PRIOR TO 1st JULY WILL BE RECORDED AS HAVING BEEN RECEIVED ON THE 1st JULY. (As agreed at the Autumn Delegates meeting of 19th November, 1994.)
